The men in this photograph are those of 'A' Company, the 13th Battalion, the Parachute Regiment, photographed in 1943. I am reliably informed that this photograph was taken outside of Salisbury cathedral, and that shows some of the men who were involved in the battle for Putot en Auge just one year later.
